Hello Everybody and a very Happy New Year to you all!
I hope you had a wonderful break and you are refreshed and ready to kick start the new year.
I have lots of hopes and plans for the year ahead, one of them being to open up the blog to be more of a fashion and lifestyle blog, covering topics like beauty, health and fitness and travel.
Travel is something I hope to do more of this year, I think this is down to the amazing ski trip that I had with my family over the new year. I have been fortunate enough to travel a lot but since setting up the blog and styling business I suppose travelling has taken a back seat but I got wonderful feedback from my Snapchat followers during my time away that I thought that it would be a good idea to show you all more of the world!
Nevertheless as Fashion is still my main focus and always will be, here is the first look of 2018!
In January we all try tightening the belt and this usually means clothes shopping takes a back seat but there is certainly no need to worry about that with this cute and comfy look, as there will certainly be certainly no evidence of those three tins of Roses that were eaten over the festive season!!
Casual wear looks can be just as challenging as figuring out what to wear for a night out. When I spotted this sweatshirt, I knew just had to have it and thought instantly that it would be perfect for wearing during my flight to Austria. We all want that cute yet comfy look while flying right?
Well the pairing of some simple basics can create the most stylish of looks just keep the tones in the same colour pallet to achieve this crisp casual style.
Here I styled my entire look around this Mango sweatshirt (Here) Easy, comfy and casual, yet bang on trend and so stylish too! I am all about adding a great pop of colour to your outfit too!
I focused on one of the colours mostly in this sweatshirt and that was the burgundy colour and teamed the look with these utterly cool pom pom plimsolls from Stradivarius, which unfortunately are now all sold out.
The jeans I am wearing are the ‘Jamie’ Jeans from Topshop (Here) they are so comfy, have a great stretch to them and have some rips but are not too much if you get me.
I completed the look with this matching coat from River Island, it’s just so cosy and ill also style it up with jeans and boots too! Lots of you have been asking me about this coat but I literally think I got the last one online the week before Christmas.
Hope you like it,
Rebecca Rose Xx
