Happy Tuesday Folks!

Since Autumn is in full swing I thought today I’d share with you my top 5 Autumn/Winter Fashion trends!

It wouldn’t be Autumn without a good chunky knit or two. Think the bigger the better! I love nothing more than snuggling up in a good oversized chunky knit, skinny jeans or leather skirt like I have shown – that’s Autumn style and comfort at its best if you ask me! On this particular day it was pretty mild so my chucky knit and oversized scarf was most definitely enough and now that It is mid-October I can see myself reaching for more of these styles.

It’s October, which means only one thing. It’s officially leather weather! The perfect piece for day to night transitional wear is your one and only leather skirt. Pair it with a chunky knit and ankle boots for the day like I have shown or simply swap it up with a bodysuit, satin blouse and heels for a sexy night time look.

There’s a new boot du jour doing the rounds this season, identifiable by its sock-like, clingy appearance, this shoe trend first emerged on the Autumn/Winter runways. The boots are a mix of socks and ankle boots and are found in various textures: leather, velvet, PVC and stretch, and different lengths also. The best bit though, they give the ultra-flattering illusion of super slim ankles due to their stretchy hugging effect. Plus – practically speaking, the addition of a chunky heel makes them actually walk-able and the fitted silhouette will keep your ankles toasty warm when teaming them with a mini-skirt like I have shown. Now you know why I have an obsession with this new boot style

The Baker Boy hats are huge for AW17 and I am yet to get my hands on one but It is most definitely my next purchase along with a beret! As not only are the baker boy hats huge, there’s a new head wear accessory which might just take the hotspot and it’s the beret. If you were a sofa spectator during NYFW week this year (like me) then you’ll have seen both the beret and the baker boy don the head of the fashion elite; I don’t think either will be disappearing any time soon! I’m pretty happy to be honest because I think they are quite a cute winter warmer! I will be showcasing a pretty beret in the one of the next blog posts so make sure to keep your eyes peeled!

Cute little box bags made a huge statement at LFW this year. My favourite from the picks were the miniature luggage inspired bags like the little Mango box bag that I showcased in my last blog post. This bag has all the Gucci/Aspinal vibes and at such a bargain and also comes in a gorgeous shiny red patent. I have a feeling you will be seeing a lot more of this one over on my Insta!
