Hello my lovely fashionistas,
I hope you are all having a lovely weekend!
So as you may all be aware the spring/ summer 2018 colour trends are here, with many season-perfect shades on display on the high street. Lots of softer, more feminine shades of pink and lavender, as well as some bright and loud colours for spring 2018, like green, yellow and red to really help shake off the winter gloom.
While we are all looking forward to spring it is not quite here yet so adding a pop of colour with something warm like a nice cosy knit jumper like I have shown here is right on trend at the moment.
I am a huge fan of colour as you all may know but I also know a lot of people struggle with it but to make you feel a little at ease, green is most definitely good on the Irish skin tone. Nevertheless accessorising is a great way to add bright pops of primary colour to your wardrobe without going full-on colour wheel.
For today’s look I bring you a gorgeous green ensemble from Mango.
I spotted this pleated skirt first and just fell in love with the colour and the vertical stripes (Here) and as I walked down the shop I noticed this green and black chunky knit (Here) and knew it would work perfectly tucked into the skirt. I finished the look with my ever reliable sock boots from Littlewoods (Here) and faux fur bag from Dune London which I got as a Christmas present.
I have already worn this outfit to a few events and got lots of lovely compliments and I know I will be able to wear these as separates too wearing the pleated the skirt with a black bodysuit and the chunky knit with jeans and boots.
I hope you like this look!
