Happy Sunday Everybody!
Have you heard about the Newest Collaboration with H&M?
Well this autumn, the Swedish high street retailer H&M have tapped into another British print brand to inject some quintessential craftsmanship into its high-street bringing us an array of beautiful prints from the one and only Morris & Co.
For those of you who don’t know who William Morris is, he is a trained architect, turned to print designer and became known for his innovative designs which transformed the world of decorative arts.
As he rose to become a celebrated member of the Arts and Crafts Movement, he would begin to amass a vast archive of prints that designers still call upon for inspiration today.
Floral and animal prints most familiar in the world of interiors made their fashion debuts in this collection and includes strong tailoring in its jackets, coats and trousers but takes a more romantic approach with the dress and blouses. This stunning collection injects the perfect amount of country chic into your wardrobe for this autumn-winter and I must say I absolutely love it!
The Collection launched on October 4th and many of the pieces just flew out, however there are still some of the collection can still be picked up in-store and online – Here.
One of my favourite items from the collection was the WILLIAM MORRIS & CO. x H&M Maxi dress. It’s an airy, patterned, textured weave with a small stand-up collar, concealed buttons at the top and long sleeves with narrow elastic cuffs.
I wore this dress for the Athlone TownCentre #StyleSensation last weekend but got around to finally shooting the look on the beautiful grounds of Castle Leslie.
Happy Shopping Ladies
